Given that today is Good Friday, it is only appropriate to remember the redemptive suffering and death of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, before the resurrection. A short but very interesting examination of the two thieves that were crucified with Christ can be found here.
The link takes you to a Baptist Press article written by Lauren Crane. The article reports the core of a message from Rev. Buddy Gray during a Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary chapel service. Rev. Gray spoke of how the reactions of the dying thieves to the Christ in their midst can be seen as representing all humanity.
Rev. Gray is pastor of Birmingham, Alabama’s Hunter Street Baptist Church and is a former president of the Alabama Baptist State Convention.
